Action/Adventure

Women are typically the victims in action and horror films, but two films at the Los Angeles Film Festival flipped these genre clichés on their heads.

George Miller makes a triumphant return to the genre he created.

like most action films, the stakes get higher and the problems multiply as the heroes get closer to their goal. But the challenges in 'Pound of Flesh' are not only physical, but moral. The ultimate obstacle is not physical at all.

Another impressively well written, structured and acted film from the "Marvel universe, Avengers: Age of Ultron" will not disappoint the fans.

Wait until you see what happens when a Jeep, a helicopter, and a train get into a fight in "Vengeance of an Assassin"

These friendships last a lifetime. But just how long will that last?

How much is the life of a billionaire worth? That and other questions about life, relationships and greed are explored in 'Kidnapping Mr. Heineken', staring Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jim Sturgess and Sam Worthington. This is a kidnapping and bank robbery story, but this film is not the typical “heist flick” in the 'Oceans 11-The Italian Job' genre. It goes much deeper.

Ultimately feels like a lackluster episode of 'Game of Thrones' with a vampiric subplot thrown in.

The "Big Hero 6 Collector’s Edition" is a nice addition to any family’s home video library. While it could have been a more complete package, what is there, is certainly worth owning.

John Wick is a definite must-own and warrants a blind buy for any action fan.
