I had a chance to head to an event hosted by Oculus during PAX East to check out some of the true killer games coming out for the Oculus Rift.

Blueberry farmer Horatio is joined by a Cyclops who is also his soulmate; a sentient cupcake who can heal; a battle princess; a conquistador pirate lady; and a host of other characters you can enlist, including Gnomes, Hair Trolls, Vampires, Robots, and a horde of other weird creatures.

While the systems and camera all need work and hinder the overall game, 'Seven' has a special spark that makes it very interesting to experience. The story is engaging if a little predictable and the art style really stands out as a fresh look at a fairly overused genre.

This is a fantastic shooter with tight action and gameplay, but the story is the true star of the game. This alternate universe set in the 1960s has a story that is as full of hope and companionship as of pure evil and despair.

Interesting characters and a true sense of choices and reactions set 'Divinity: Original Sin 2' at the top of the RPG pantheon.

Ruiner is a dark, exhilarating game that feels like it's been pulled from legendary author William Gibson's cyperpunk nightmares.

'Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice' is a one of a kind experience that looks at the personal effects of Senua’s illness while delivering an immersive, impressively detailed adventure game.

'Agents of Mayhem' has some great ideas, but this fun open-world mashup of 'G.I. Joe' and 'Overwatch' is held back by repetitive levels and dumb enemies.

This meta game of a sci-fi RPG inside a simulated tabletop RPG session is charming and full of great humor and pop culture references.

My character was defeated, drained, and discarded at the end of the story mission, leaving a lot of questions unanswered.
