Jerry Phillips, the son of legendary Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, grew up rubbing shoulders with icons such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash. Yet it is only now, at age 75, that he has gotten around to releasing an album of his own.

You can feel the raw emotion in these well-crafted songs, and especially in Telisha Williams's voice as she sings songs of experience, but not of innocence.
