It doesn't take very long for the six intrepid heroes aboard the Jolly Roger to forget that teamwork is the best way to recuse Henry (Jared Gilmore) from the evil clutches of Peter Pan.

One thing I have to say: the primetime schedule is full of great genre promise with both new and returning series on network television.

It's a good start, and I look forward to watching the series and writing about it as the months pass.

The season two Blu-ray release of Once Upon a Time hits the streets Tuesday, August 13, and it is a real treat for fans of the series.

The pilot is well made for the young demo it's directed at and has great storytelling potential.
