Chained Echoes is a throwback to SNES style JRPGs, but greatly enhanced with style and insanely good quality of life improvements. One of the best JRPGs I have played in a long time!

Obviously crafted by true fans of the Ghostbusters universe, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is pure fun, with a great look, feel and sound.

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars has great worldbuilding and interesting hooks, but fails asan experience that is groundbreaking or compelling.

Soulstice has some repetitious gameplay but is well worth checking out for its beauty, character dynamics and compelling world.

'Bright Memory: Infinite' is a short but bright burst of sci-fi FPS action. Goofy story aside, this is a fun experience from a small but talented developer.

'Trek to Yomi' is a fantastic and cinematic samurai epic centered around loss and revenge, held back only slightly by somewhat standard combat mechanics.

While there were many amazing games at PAX East, the darkly weird 'The Last Worker' and surprisingly deep 'Arcade Paradise' were standouts for me.

The fourth and final day of PAX East was full of games, from 'Cursed to Golf' to 'Brick Tales' and 'Asterigos' to 'The Last Hero of Nostalgaia,' all quite different but very fun.

Day three of PAX East 2022 was filled with exploring, old fashioned soda, D&D, Magic The Gathering and a great pixelated game called /No Place For Bravery./
