Improving upon the original in almost every way, 'Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2' is a great-looking game with a surprising amount of content. It also now includes a pair of single-player campaigns and the increasingly rare couch co-op.

Even with a significant visual upgrade and a modern control scheme option, 'Resident Evil Zero' is still one of the weakest entries in the Resident Evil series.

Compelling, addictive, and has a depth that makes coming back to this fun yet brutal game nearly compulsive.

Minecraft's "Block and a Hard Place" features significantly more puzzle solving, but Episode 4 is one TellTale's poorest examples of "interactive storytelling" yet.

"King's Quest: Chapter 2 – Rubble Without a Cause" is absolutely acceptable, but "absolutely acceptable" is a big letdown after "A Knight to Remember."

'Just Cause 3' is definitely an upgrade, but it comes at an expense. All of the new toys don't mean a thing if you don't have a time or a place to use them.

'Fallout 4' is another truly great game from Bethesda and one that is going to be generating unique stories and experiences for players for years to come.

'Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 3: The Last Place You Look' is surprisingly more action-oriented than its predecessor, but the series is still best suited for 10- and 12-year-olds. The rest of us will have to see which series Telltale Games will continue next.

It's been four months, but Episode 6: The Ice Dragon does its job, as a finale well, even if no one will be really happy with where it leaves off. TellTale's 'Game of Thrones' series doesn't break any new ground, but fans of the television show and books should definitely give it a look, and hopefully, a second season isn't far off.

'Batman: Arkham Knight' on PC still has some issues but the sheer quality of the game and its deep lore make it worth playing despite the rough edges.
