Every year when I attend PAX East I look forward to checking out new games, watching some panels and meeting new and old friends.

'Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch' quickly drew me in despite a simplistic intro. I had a small crew of unlikely partners and enemies to vanquish. In 'Strings Theory' the levels look stunning and the catchy music moves them along in a wonderful way.

I had a chance to view a live playthrough of the highly anticipated 'Elden Ring Nightreign.' It was fast, fun and built from the ground up for a new co-op experience.

'Demonschool' was already on my must-play list thanks to the story and fun tactical combat. But the richness of the world and the game's social side have made me that much more excited for it.

ctl.alt.DEAL is based on the “paperclip problem," the idea that if AI were given the simple task to make as many paperclips as possible, it would inadvertently destroy the world.

The developers of 'Mafia: The Old Country' wanted with this release to have a strong focus on a tightly woven narrative experience instead of a sprawling open-world experience.

It was a fast-paced and fun game which I picked up fairly quickly. I was happy to hear that the full game will have much more depth in the cards, and some characters will transform under some conditions.

I had the pleasure of chatting with passionate art directors David Levy and Gavin Whelan about the challenges of bringing the visuals of 'Dune Awakening' to the screen.

Using traps, turrets, and grenades as well as melee and ranged weapons, the four of us kept the restaurant clear and the sushi moving to the customers.

PAX East is chock full of amazing experiences for gamers, nerd culture enthusiasts, cosplayers, TCG fans, and frankly anyone who just enjoys a fun and varied experience in this rich ecosystem.
