Hang on, Game of Thrones fans, the ride is about to get even bumpier. (Is that even possible?) Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) is dead, and the most unlikely assassin, Tryion (the always fabulous Peter Dinklage) is in the hot seat, accused of the murder. I have no ambivalence about the Brat-King’s death, and I nearly broke into song (“Ding Dong the wretch is dead!” if you must know!) when Joffrey stopped breathing. Phew!
In the North, Jon Snow , realizing that Castle Black is no longer safe, proposes a new plan, while Arya learns a lesson or two from her unlikely protector The Hound (Rory McCann).
Now that Joffrey’s dead, how will that inspire those already vying for the Iron Throne? Stay tuned!
