According to Launch:

    American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, and hosts Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman will appear on the season premiere of Mad TV. Mad TV’s eighth year kicks off on Saturday (September 14) from 11 to 12 p.m. ET on Fox.

It strikes me as an almost surreal meeting of cheese and sarcasm.
