What's happening on the next "Once Upon a Time?" Spoilers ahoy (and a slideshow, too).

Previewing the Next ‘Once Upon a Time’: ‘Jolly Roger’

“Yoho, yoho, a pirate’s life for me…” (Okay, I had to get that in there as we get ready to board Captain Hook’s (Colin O’Donoghue) Jolly Roger on next Sunday’s Once Upon a Time.) Ariel (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) returns to Storybrooke, and we learn that her Prince Eric (Gil McKinney) has not yet appeared. She turns to Hook to help locate him.

The parallel story in the Enchanted Forest tells a different story as Ariel accuses the pirate of keeping Eric prisoner on his ship. But Hook’s ship is gone, stolen, and could thief be holding Prince Eric captive? With both Eric and the ship missing, Hook has an idea of where both might be and who has them.

In Storybrooke, Henry’s (Jared S. Gilmore) relationship with Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) becomes a bit strained as Henry finds his grandparents pale in comparison to the swashbuckling Captain Hook. Can they compete with all that leather and guy-liner?

And on the Evil vs. Wicked front, Regina (Lana Parrilla) begins to teach Emma (Jennifer Morrison) a little magic. Because right now, it looks like the Wicked Witch has the upper hand in this war. Can the combined magical abilities of Regina and Emma defeat Zelena (Rebecca Mader) who still has Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) captive and enslaved to the dagger in her possession?

If you haven’t read it yet, be sure to read my detailed, two-part character analysis of Rumplestiltskin.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 7:00 p.m. on ABC. In the meantime, enjoy a slideshow courtesy of ABC Television.
